Chocolaté Kiss Cookiés



ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Dutch process or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup of nonpareil nuggets
  • 25 Hershey kisses unpacked








Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or Silpat baking mat and set aside.
  • In a medium b0wl, whisk together the fl0ur, cocoa and salt. Put aside.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, beat the butter at medium-high speed until smooth, about 1 minute. Add sugar and beat on medium-high until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the egg yolk, milk and vanilla extract and beat on high speed until everything is combined, about 1 minute. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl and beat again if necessary to combine.
  • Add dry ingredients to moist ingredients and mix on low speed until combined.
  • Pour the flakes in a small bowl. Roll the dough balls, about 3 teaspoons of dough per cookie, then roll each ball in the glitter to coat. Place the balls 0f dough 0n the prepared baking sheet, 2 inches apart.
  • Cook the cookies for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove the co0kies from the 0ven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. Press the chocolate kisses in the center of each cookie. Transfer the co0kies to a wire rack to c0ol them completely.
  • Cookies to be preserved will be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
